Exciting New Products

We are now carring James Kochan's historical reproduction fabrics.

This is museaum quality reproduction 18th and 19th century wollen cloth for military, trade, and domestic use.

These fabrics are made 54 in. as did the original cloth produced for the military during the 18th and 19th centuries. The broadcloth weighs. aprox. 26 oz. per yard and the Kersey weighs in at 22-23oz. per yard. Both types are heavily napped and well-milled using specially produced yarns and feature the hard "hand" that characterized the cloth of the period. The coating and Kersey both hold a cut or raw edge without raveling. This is the cloth used by leading museums and historical tailors.

We are currently carring these selections:

Mixed Grey Kersey Cloth

Madder Red Broadcloth

Sky Blue Kersey Cloth

Dark Indigo Blue Kersey Cloth

All colors:    $ 58. 00 per yard
