Q: What is worsted wool?
A: When wool is sheared from sheep, the fibers are in different
lengths. Being worsted means that only the long fibers of wool fleece
are used in a fabric's manufacture, lending to it stability and a smooth,
clean finish.
Q: What is mohair?.
A: Mohair is made from the wool of an Angora goat. Our mohair fibers
come from ranches in Texas, the center of mohair production in the United
States. Mohair is stronger than sheep's wool, and tends not to shrink
when it gets wet.
Q: Is there a minimum I must order?
A: One quarter yard would be the smallest increment to order, except
for our higher priced laces and metalics (above $6.00 per yard). We ask
you to keep credit card orders above a $10.00 subtotal.
Q: Can I order over the phone?
A: We would be happy to answer questions or take your order over
the phone. Call us Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM EST, at
1-717-334-4011.
